The NSERC Postgraduate Scholarships – Doctoral (PGS D) program provides financial support to high-calibre students who are engaged in an eligible doctoral program in natural sciences or engineering (refer to the Eligibility criteria for students and fellows web page for more information). This support allows scholars to concentrate more fully on their studies and seek out the best research mentors in their chosen fields both within Canada and abroad.

The President's Graduate Scholarship (PGS) is awarded to outstanding graduate students who hold certain major federally and provincially-funded competition-based scholarships.

The Graduate Research Studentship (GRS) directly supports students in research-based graduate programs.

An annual award presented by Renison University College to the student with the highest academic achievement graduating from the Master of Social Work program.

The Young Alumni Award recognizes recent graduates of Renison University College who, having graduated from academic programs and/or Community and Professional Education (CAPE) programs or courses administered by the College within the past 10 years, or having lived in residence at the College for at least two terms within the past ten years, have made significant contributions to their field, either through academic achievement or service to the community.

Total Awarded: $1,500

The Renison Town and Gown Society, a network of active and involved women from the local community, established three awards for students in the full-time Social Development Studies or School of Social Work programs, and one award for students registered in the part-time School of Social Work program. It will be given to students who have entered university from non-traditional routes such as community college, previous careers, parenting. Applicants must show a record of community service, and some consideration will be given for financial need.
